The HTC Evo 4G, based on Google's Android 2.1 operating system, goes on sale from Sprint June 4 for $199 with a two-year contract. Though the device burns through a battery quicker than a knife through warm butter, there's no denying the Evo's 4.3-inch screen is gorgeous. Those who thought the HTC Droid Incredible's screen, at 3.7 inches, was large will be duly impressed. Our reviewer at eWEEK watched ESPN Mobile clips on the Evo's Sprint TV app running in the locally available 3G mobile service and was impressed by the color and clarity.
