IBM will expand its chip-manufacturing services for wireless applications. Applications for the chips include cell phones, Bluetooth-enabled devices, RFID tags and automotive sensors.

The market for wireless chips is estimated to be more than $30 billion in 2003, according to analyst group iSuppli.
