Apple's iPhone is still selling extremely well. And although Android-based devices are starting to take hold over the market, no single device can match Apple's offering. But that doesn't mean that it's impossible. In fact, there is a real possibility that a company with the right vision can come along and best the iPhone. Right now, Motorola seems like the best option to supplant Apple as the top smartphone maker. With the Droid X and the Droid 2, the company has proven that it knows what it needs to do in order to be successful in the smartphone space. And going forward, it has far more potential than any other company (aside from Apple) in the market. So, while it will be difficult, Motorola has a shot at building the perfect iPhone killer. Here are the ways that it can achieve that goal.
