Hewlett Packard bucks the trend with six new hand-helds, including its first all-in-one WLAN/phone/PDA combo.
Analysts continue to predict the demise of the PDA, frequently citing Sonys exit from the market, but Hewlett Packard Corp. is moving in a different direction. The company is introducing six new iPaq models in its Pocket PC line, including its first phone/PDA combo. The iPaq h6315, which is being introduced in partnership with T-Mobile, has three wireless-network options, GPRS, 802.11b, and Bluetooth.
