Palm Inc. Monday added two new handhelds to its line of color-screen devices. The m130 is essentially a color version of the m125 and, at $279, is one of the least expensive color-screen handhelds on the market. It includes 8MB of integrated memory as well as a secure digital expansion slot. The m515 is an upgraded version of the m505, which Palm introduced last year. It includes 16MB of memory and adjustable backlighting, as well as a brighter screen than its predecessor. The m515 costs $399.
Palm also dropped the price of its monochrome m500 device to $299 from $329.
The San Jose, Calif., company is no longer producing the m500 color device. The companys entry-level device, the m100, has been discontinued as well.
