Sports aficionados know that their mobile devices are vital tools when it comes to keeping up with scores on the latest games, and the iPad is no exception. In preparation for this year's World Cup, it seems a number of third-party developers have come out of the proverbial woodwork with a variety of apps for keeping track of the 32 teams' scores, rosters, injuries and other latest news. Other apps let you take a shot at a goal or try to mastermind a virtual team's way to victory. Whatever apps you choose and however much information they provide on a real-time basis about each game, none of them will shout "GOOOOOOOOOOOALLL!" for you.
