Lieberman Unveils Privacy Protection Plan

Democratic presidential contender and Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman on Friday proposed to safeguard personal information and to open unnecessary secrets in federal government. The plan would help consumers to correct errors in credit reports, double penalties for identity theft and restrict the use and sale of social security numbers online.
