Sophos updates its antivirus software for Mac OS X 10.3.

Sophos Plc. this week announced an update to its Mac antivirus software. The company said its enhanced security model prevents normal users from disabling antivirus software.

The software uses Mac OS Xs own SMTP client to send alert messages, so if a user is disconnected from the network, messages will queue until a connection is found, ensuring no alerts are lost.
