Security: RSA Conference 2012: Hot Security Products for Cloud, BYOD
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the RSA conference, and companies are descending on San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center with product announcements and demonstrations highlighting the latest and greatest in their security portfolios. The products cover a whole range, from networking to cloud services to application security. Web application firewalls are on everyone's minds, as organizations start worrying about sophisticated attackers launching more complex attacks against Websites. With the oncoming bring-your-own-device (BYOD) trend changing how IT administrators control access to applications on the network, vendors are rolling out mobile device management products designed to make the process less daunting. The cloud will be the focus of many discussions, whether as a way to deliver security tools or to protect the data housed within from cyber-attacks. The massive conference can get a little intimidating while attending sessions and trying to keep up with all the new products unveiled at the show. Here, eWEEK has pulled together some of the new products being shown
