Network Associates has incorporated several improvements in Version 2.0 of the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator anti-virus software management tool, making it easier for administrators to manage anti-virus policies, schedule the task of updating virus definition files and log virus invasions on a network.
SHORT-TERM BUSINESS IMPACT // A smaller footprint, shorter setup time, and quick and easy deployment to client systems will get this management software up and running quickly.
LONG-TERM BUSINESS IMPACT // Less bandwidth is required to manage machines, which means deployment of the software can be easily widened as a company grows.
New report types and the ability to obtain reports on Symantecs anti-virus software as well as on Network Associates own McAfee products help administrators easily understand virus attacks on locations throughout a network.
