Small businesses have more opportunities than ever for voice over IP. eWeek Labs Senior Technical Analyst Andrew Garcia explains. New products and strategic partnerships are offering businesses with as few as 10 seats an affordable option for the IP telephony experience. For instance, Cisco's Smart Business Communication System is a combination of hardware, software and services, but still requires a system integrator. Microsoft's Response Point Platform, lacks some features, but is easy enough for anyone to install out of the box and offers unique voice recognition technology.
