RouteScience's PathControl helps to manage Internet traffic.
Enterprises that need to find a better way of figuring out which of their Internet service providers is delivering the best performance or want to be sure that routing protocols are choosing the fastest path may now be able to get some answers.
In November, RouteScience Inc., a San Mateo, Calif., routing device maker, will unveil PathControl to help enterprises better manage the cost and performance of their Internet routing.
PathControl measures the real-time performance of available Internet routes to end users. By revealing how fast traffic moves across all network paths to specific users, PathControl helps enterprises select the best path for the most important traffic. PathControl is priced between $140,000 and $250,000, depending on how many modules are needed.
