Combining the Shavlik Netchk patch management system with the Sunbelt VIPRE anti-malware engine, Protect 7 is a full- featured security solution. Howewer, anti-malware is not fully integrated into the management console, and eWEEK Labs experienced some quirkiness with the GUI during tests.
The Dell R710 PowerEdge 2U rack-mount server is a worthy combination of compute and performance power, and the first system I've seen that provides an alternative to BIOS for power-on system setup and configuration. Many of the Dell R710 PowerEdge's most compelling characteristics are driven by the need to optimize the data center for virtualization tasks.

The $500,000 price tag is well worth it given the ability of the platform to consolidate many security functions and still push traffic at 40G bps.
SocialPET is a SAAS application that tests end users' ability to discern dangerous e-mails by sending fake phishing messages and reporting on users' actions. The app is useful for pointing to security weak links, but it is currently pretty bare-boned.
Providing stiff competition in its market space, Sun Microsystems' Intel "Nehalem"-based Sun Fire x4170 packs generous amounts of compute power, local storage, network bandwidth and PCIe expansion capability into a small footprint.
