IT service management software maker BMC announced April 28 that is has acquired Coradiant, a specialist in user experience and Web application performance monitoring.
Terms of the transaction were not made available by Houston-based BMC.
BMC said Coradiant’s Web application software will add new dimensions to its management platform.
Coradiant enables users to track the performance of on-premises, virtualized and cloud-based applications so as to determine if Web software is causing problems that impact the business.
The acquisition enables BMC to offer businesses a full view of service performance — from the end-user’s experience/behavior to deep into the infrastructure. By monitoring the end-user’s experience, organizations can protect revenue, enhance productivity and ensure operational stability for their applications.
Founded in 2007, San Diego, Calif.-based Coradiant had raised $42 million in venture capital.
