Achieve Enterprise Agility Throughout the Complete Lifecycle

HP has extended its enterprise software strategy, adding new application lifecycle management (ALM) capabilities as well as enhanced support for agile software development and project management.

Hewlett-Packard in February announced new software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions to help enterprises with agile development, application performance management and project management. Across the complete application lifecycle—from planning, building and running applications—HP is helping enterprises achieve end-to-end agility and increase responsiveness to business demands. Mobility, Web-based environments and the cloud are impacting the speed with which innovative, business-critical, modern applications are being delivered. Enterprises need to have the ability to prioritize investments to drive new innovations while aligning to business needs and resource availability. However, velocity is impacting application quality, resulting in potential and significant business ramifications, including harm to brand equity. Enterprise agility comes from being able to quickly deploy simple-to-use, on-demand tools that provide visibility and collaboration across the application lifecycle. HP is looking to help enterprises embrace agile delivery and DevOps capabilities to manage the complete application lifecycle. This eWEEK slide show takes a look at gaining agility by focusing on the entire lifecycle.
