Despite escalating costs and sometimes spotty support, many midsize companies are reluctant to throw in the towel on their ERP systems.
According to a new study from IDC, 83 percent of companies with 100 to 999 employees would stick with the same vendor despite cost and change issues.
The reason, said the study’s author, IDC research director Albert Pang, is because these companies tend to be too complacent and are reluctant to rock the boat.
