With customers turning more to online shopping and less to placing phone orders, Lands’ End is closing its Cross Plains, Wisconisn, call center in June.
The retailer said the move will help Lands’ End “ensure consistency across multiple channels and respond more quickly to the business.”
Last year, the retailer’s Web sales amounted to $511 million, which is about one-third of the company’s total revenue.
