NetIQ Corp.s self-named management software for Oracle Corp. RDBMS servers now supports Unix, the company announced on Tuesday.
Unix support will augment the NetIQ modules current Windows support. The module provides performance reporting, event management and automation from a central console. Its also designed to deliver automated event detection and correction to ensure availability, as well as having the capability of running prepackaged service-level agreement reports.
The NetIQ module is shipping now from the San Jose, Calif., company, priced starting at $1,500 per Oracle relational database management system server.
