RingCentral, Google Team for New Enterprise UC Offering
RingCentral Office Google Edition offering, with Google Apps and Hangouts, will become available later in summer for $30 per user per month.Enterprise voice IP provider RingCentral said June 22 it is branching out by bringing customers a new unified communications package that combines Google Apps and Google Hangouts with RingCentral Office. The RingCentral Office Google Edition offering will become available in late summer 2016 for $30 per user per month, the company said. The offering includes Google Apps Unlimited with unlimited storage and a new edition of RingCentral Office that integrates directly with Google Apps and Google Hangouts. The package is designed to provide richer and more robust enterprise communication solutions compared to competing industry offerings that include Microsoft Office 365 and Skype for Business. Existing Google customers can add the RingCentral tier for $20 per user per month and use their Google credentials to log into RingCentral using single sign-on. The ability to make calls directly from Google Apps enables enterprises to spend more time communicating with customers and less time toggling between apps, dialing, and recording all types of communications into the profile.
Additionally, it eliminates the need for customers to use a separate communications application.
