Training and organizational performance software developer RWD Technologies this week will unveil new functionality for its namesake Info Pak tool set. Info Pak is used to document and simulate training practices with software from SAP and Oracle.
A new OmniHelp component in Info Pak provides a searchable, context-sensitive help feature from any application that is directly related to the task being performed. At the same time, users have the ability to create customized virtual sticky notes that perform several functions, including prompting users to perform a task, informing them of updates and providing information necessary to complete a task.
In addition, a new simultaneous recording and dual output component enables users to record and create both step-by-step and interactive simulations of applications, officials said.
Pricing for Info Pak starts at $2,500. The software records against any 32-bit Windows application, RWD said.
