On Aug. 7 Adobe announced Adobe Connect 9.3, the next iteration of its core enterprise-level Web conferencing product. Updates to the product span the three main solution areas that Adobe Connect supports: Web conferencing, Webinars and e-learning. The 9.3 release is the second update the Adobe Connect team has announced this year following the announcement of integration with Adobe's content management system, Experience Manager, for creating social learning communities. The new set of features in Adobe Connect 9.3 includes the ability to crowd-source Webinar promotion via social media and bring Twitter and Instagram conversations into your meeting room, new pen and pencil tools for a more lifelike whiteboard experience, significantly improved screen sharing for presenters, deeper integration with Salesforce.com for lead generation, new Guided Hints to help users easily accomplish common tasks, and integration with Microsoft Lync to enable faster collaboration within Lync. The new release also leverages Adobe's legacy of creating some of the best drawing tools for creative professionals.
