A new year means a fresh start for all of us, a chance to improve our bodies, and our minds, clean our closets and organize our email. But life has a way of disrupting our plans, which is why a lot of us need help to keep our resolutions absolute and our goals within reach. Thankfully, Apple's App Store offers thousands of apps that are designed to boost productivity, keep you in better shape and inspire you to live your life to the fullest. It's not just about losing a few pounds, though. We've also included a selection of apps that can help you arrange that vacation to Australia you've always wanted to take, or an app that puts you back in touch with family and friends worldwide for free. Of course, there should always be time to fool around with a game, whether you're in line at the store, stuck in traffic or just looking to unwind, so we've included our latest obsession, as well. And of course, we've included the official New Year's Eve app so you can ring in 2014 with all of the festivities from Times Square, wherever you happen to be in the world. Happy New Year!
