Shazam Shows Music Is Alive and Well

It's hard to find much fault with the popular (and free) Shazam. While the app has added some features over the last couple of years to stay fresh, its chief function is to "listen" to songs that are playing and deliver a result to users telling them what's on. From there, users can buy songs. It's a great app.

This can be especially true of the owners who just bought an Android smartphone for the first time. And there is no shortage of those because the smartphone market is growing by leaps and bounds. But it's a start because the first step to getting productive and having some fun with a new Android device is to invest in some cool apps.
