Bringing mobile devices into the enterprise can be a complex and frustrating process, especially when BYOD (bring-your-own-device) initiatives and multiple mobile OS support is added to the mix. Centrify aims to ease the burden and tame the chaos with two products that work together, Centrify for Mobile 2013 and BYOA (Bring Your Own Application) with Centrify for SaaS 2013. Those products bring a management layer to the world of mobile devices by leveraging active directory in such a way that a common, single pane of glass management console can become an orchestrator for everything mobile. What’s more, end user portals, single sign-on and self service provisioning make it easy for end users to embrace mobile devices yet still have access to corporate and cloud resources securely.

Ultimately the goal of Centrify for Mobile 2013 and BYOA along with Centrify for SaaS 2013 is to bring ease of use to both the mobile device user and the IT manager. The end user portal, or, in Centrify-speak, MyCentrify, offers an easy-to-understand portal for the end user, making application access a simple task while reducing help-desk calls at the same time.
