Check Out the 3D in Maps

One neat addition to Maps is a 3D option, which lets folks see cities as if they were a bird flying overhead.

Apple’s iPhone 5 is one of those devices that comes along and impresses folks the minute it’s popped out of the box. The handset comes with an outstanding design. While the hardware and software are not perfect, the handset design is efficient. With a starting price of $199, it’s hard for many consumers to not jump at the chance to get their hands on it. In a related review of the iPhone 5, I made it clear that the device is the best smartphone Apple has ever launched. The smartphone has found a way to deliver most of the features customers are after without sacrificing design quality. With its glass-and-aluminum finish, it’s arguably the best device on the market for resisting damage. This eWEEK slide show looks at the finer elements of Apple’s iPhone 5 and shows off all of the angles that might make even the most ardent Apple hater offer up some oohs and aahs over its features. And in the following slides, we’ll show off just how beautiful it really is. Take a look through the following slides to see the iPhone 5, along with my view on some of the good as well as the bad features.
