The latest two smartwatches from LG show just how evolved smartwatches are becoming in early 2015. The standard new LG Watch Urbane and its LTE-equipped sibling, the LG Watch Urbane LTE, were announced by the company earlier in February, but they were both unveiled publicly for the first time at Mobile World Congress 2015, which opened in Barcelona, Spain, on March 2. Both smartwatches are beautifully designed and styled, with stainless steel bodies, leather wristbands and round watch faces that look like traditional luxury wristwatches. Each model includes a 1.3-inch Plastic-OLED display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and three side-mounted buttons to allow users to control a host of functions without having to swipe through multiple menu screens. The standard Urbane runs on Android Wear, while the Urbane LTE, which allows users to make cellular calls without a smartphone, runs on the new LG Wearable platform operating system. Pricing for the new smartwatches has not yet been announced. Check out this slide show for more features.
