Microsoft's first Windows 10 smartphones, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, share a bucket of features and applications that aim to give users more from their phones. The handsets, unveiled this week, take advantage of new Windows 10 capabilities, including secure logins using Windows Hello, an expanded and improved Cortana personal digital assistant and a new Continuum feature that connects the phone through a Microsoft Display Dock and a PC so users can work on documents and other tasks, just like they were working on a desktop or laptop computer. The Lumia 950 and 950 XL share 20-megapixel PureView main cameras that include triple LED flash and 4K video capture capabilities. The Lumia 950 has a 5.2-inch quad HD display, while the Lumia 950 XL uses a 5.7-inch QHD display. Also newly announced is the new Lumia 550 budget handset, which will sell for $139 and includes a 4.7-inch HD display, a 5-megapixel rear main camera, a 2-megapixel front selfie camera, 4G LTE capabilities and Windows 10.
