Buick's new Avenir concept car is quite a platform for future automotive in-cabin technology. There's a bevy of large, crisp, clear monitors on the sweeping, modern dashboard and on the front seatbacks, a next-generation infotainment system and a wide range of mobile connectivity features to give passengers excellent connections with the world around them. The Avenir, which debuted in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, is on display this week at the Philadelphia Auto Show (Jan. 31 to Feb. 8), where its clean lines and daring design are clear evidence of the intriguing research and design work that is being done within the previously staid Buick division within General Motors. Though it is only a concept car at this point, with no plans for actual production, the Avenir includes a host of features that bring high-style to mobile in-vehicle systems. The Avenir also includes unique and futuristic center light bars and an airy cabin that exudes modern luxury. Take a peek at some of the innovative features inside the Avenir.
