Businesses often have unique computing needs that require employees to carry, count or handle packages or products or even perform work-related tasks while simultaneously using a computer. That's where uniquely packaged computers from companies like Zebra Technologies can make a big difference. Zebra unveiled two of its latest products to help enterprise workers on the job: the TC75 and TC55 enterprise mobile computers. The new TC75 handheld machine is based on the company's existing TC70 computer and is Zebra's latest enterprise-grade Android device that includes multi-carrier 4G LTE capabilities for constant connectivity wherever it is used. The TC75, aimed at such industries as field service, transportation and logistics, direct store delivery, route accounting and public safety applications, has the familiar feel of a smartphone but is designed to withstand harsh work environments. The TC55 has been updated to use the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and now includes an integrated 2D imager to speed barcode scanning and other data collection.
