PowerEye Professional Drone Built for Aerial Cinematography

The latest drone from PowerVision, the PowerEye Professional, aims to give professional cinematographers an aerial platform that will allow them to capture up to almost 30 minutes of video at a time using a high-performance 4K HD video camera and dual-operator controls in a device that folds and fits into a small protective case. The PowerEye Professional, which is now available for preorder, is priced at $3,988 and is slated to be available in December. Equipped with a standard Panasonic Lumix G 14mm F2.5 aspherical pancake lens, the PowerEye Professional drone includes dual controls that allow two people to operate it at one time—a pilot to handle the flight duties and a second person to capture high-quality video. Both operators use separate cameras to monitor the flight and the creative video being shot. The machine is a four-rotor drone that weighs 8.7 pounds and has a maximum flight time of 29.5 minutes.
