Active smartphone owners who are looking for a dust-, dirt- and shock-proof phone that is also water-resistant when they are running, cycling or spending other time outdoors might want to take a look at the latest member of Samsung's Galaxy smartphone family, the Galaxy S6 Active. AT&T will be offering the S6 Active exclusively in the United States starting June 12 at and in AT&T stores in camo white, camo blue and gray. The S6 Active, the third model in the Galaxy S6 line, is equipped with a special IP68-certified casing that is water-resistant up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes and is shock-resistant and dust-proof, creating a phone that active consumers can use even in harsh conditions. The standard Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones went on sale in 20 countries, including in the United States, on April 10 to take on Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets. AT&T customers can buy the new Galaxy S6 Active for $0 down and monthly payments under an AT&T Next 24, 18 or 12 installment plan, with payments totaling about $695.
