T-Mobile Expands Its Lineup With New Smartphone, Tablet Choices

T-Mobile customers looking to buy new smartphones or tablet computers as back-to-school season approaches now have several more options to choose from as the mobile carrier expands its offerings with four more smartphones and another tablet. The latest smartphones include the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, which includes the carrier's new advanced messaging enhancements; the waterproof Kyocera Hydro Wave; the HTC Desire 626s and the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. The latest tablet T-Mobile is offering is the Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 7. The $189.99 Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is a 4G LTE phone with a 5-inch qHD PLS (quarter high-definition) display, while the $149.99 Kyocera Hydro Wave is a 4G LTE smartphone that's built to repel everyday hazards, like being dropped in a puddle of water or in a bathtub or sink. The 4G LTE-capable HTC Desire 626s includes a 5-inch HD display and sells for $169.99, while the $139.99 Samsung Galaxy Core Prime has a 4.5-inch display. The $168 Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 7 tablet includes a 7-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) screen.
