The two new additions to the MSI notebook lineup follow the X-Slim 320 and 340, and the Wind U123, which was on view at the CTIA Wireless 2009 event in early April, and is the first MSI model to offer a 3G solution and a TV tuner. Also inside is Intel’s Atom 1.66GHz N280 processor.
The X400 is available with an optional 8-cell long-endurance battery, while the X600 will has the option of a similar 9-cell battery. Like the other X-Slim notebooks, both new offerings are compatible with external ODD drivers.
Engadget reports that each also features a Core 2 Solo CULV processor, an HDMI jack, a hard disk up to 500 GB, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory and 2-in-1 card memory reader, and estimates starting prices between $699 and $1,100.
