Ballmer on the Enterprise: We're Still Young

It may seem like Microsoft has been writing software for enterprise users for many years, but the leap that the current new releases of Windows Server, Visual Studio and SQL Server shows, according to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, is that the company is just getting started. "We're young adults, aged 22, with the best years in front of us, a little maturity, a little wisdom, and we know how to get things done in the enterprise," Ballmer told eWeek Senior Editor Peter Galli at Microsoft's enterprise launch in Los Angeles Feb. 27.
