A few months ago, I contacted Dell about an intended purchase, and I encountered such incompetence as to drive me to solve my needs elsewhere. Not just one error, mind you, but five in a row, the last being a man who complained how bad his day had been, then hung up the 'phone. Dell was once famous for customer service, and now they seem to have forgotten what it is. Mr. Dell needs to fix that, or his company will continue to die.
