For developers and product managers creating product demos and tutorials, Flash is an obvious choice as an excellent format for delivery.
However, many workers lack the ability or the inclination to learn how to develop in Flash. And although makers of demo creation software usually offer Flash export options, these options can limit functionality and keep the demo from fully leveraging the benefits of Flash.
To address this weakness, eHelp recently began offering a new module for its RoboDemo software simulation and tutorial application. Using this module, I found it was possible to leverage the strengths of both platforms: I created a tutorial in RoboDemo that took advantage of the strong e-learning, testing and simulation features in RoboDemo, then exported the files into Flash to add additional scripting and advanced Flash interactivity to my tutorial.
RoboDemo is priced at $399, and the Flash add-on module is priced at $199. For more information, go to www.ehelp.com.
