One little goodie that popped up at the recent RSA Conference was Tiny Trojan Trap 3.0, from Tiny Software. In tests, this desktop tool isolated a variety of suspect code and protected my system from becoming the unwitting accomplice of viruses.
Tiny Trojan Trap 3.0, which started shipping last month for $39.95, is also equipped with Network Associates McAfee VirusScan (the price includes a one-year subscription to the VirusScan database.)
Tinys tactic of putting multiple security technologies in one product is gaining appeal because it reduces the number of products to be administered by central IT.
