Brocade Debuts Partner Program
Brocade is launching an alliance program designed to extend the reach of its networking technologies through partnerships.
The Brocade Technology Alliance Partner Program, or TAPP, is aimed at creating new business opportunities through the joint development of customized solutions and interoperability with partner products, according to Brocade officials.
The partner program was announced May 7.
Ultimately, customers get a wider range of networking options and can get customized networking solutions.
Ben Taft, senior director of strategic alliances for Brocade, said the goal is to give users a single source for a wide range of complementary products.
"Together with our technology partners, we have validated the performance of solutions and tested interoperability, resulting in integrated solutions that give our customers the choice, flexibility and reliability they need," Taft said in a statement.
Brocade and its partners not only will develop joint interoperability validation programs, but also will work together in marketing, selling and supporting the solutions.
Brocade also will work with its partners in building specialized teams for QA (quality assurance) testing.
