BenQ Ships 16x DVD Burner

BenQ Corp. last week started shipping its 16x DVD burners. The burner initial supports 16x in the +RW format. The company will develop advanced models to support Dual (both +RW and –RW) and DL (single-sided double layer disc) standards.

Lite-On Technology Corp. will begin shipments of 16x DVD burners by the end of next month.
