Besides all the autonomic computing features featured in IBMs next-generation database, code-named "Stinger," theres plenty to keep business-intelligence fans happy. One major feature is a revamped DB2 Design Advisor, which IBM claims is ideally suited for data-warehousing applications. Also well be seeing updated DB2 Cube Views that allow for the definition of OLAP-centric meta data; optimized query performance and query optimization technology from IBMs LEO (Learning Optimization) research & development project, and more.
