Lenovo ThinkCentre Edge 91z All-in-One

Hello, gorgeous! Lenovo's 91 z AiO features a 21.5-inch, 1080p Infinity Screen, a 20-second boot-up time, a single cord and ATI discreet graphics. Users also have a choice of a number of different processors, including the Intel Core i7 Quad Core CPU. It can also be paired with a wireless, spill-proof keyboard that can slide under it for a space savings when it's not in use.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

This Ultrabook features a 14-inch display, gaining an inch on its predecessor from a year ago but still managing to lose weight. It's now 3 pounds (down from 3.7) and 0.71 inches thin.

Intel's new Ivy Bridge processors are paired with Intel vPro management technology, Lenovo's RapidCharge, which can get the battery to 80 percent in 30 minutes, and 3G mobile broadband. There's also a 720p camera with face-tracking, and a carbon fiber roll cage, making the X1 more durable than its lithe looks suggest.

HP Envy Ultrabook

HP's new Envy line of Ultrabooks feature Intel Ivy Bridge chips, display options of 14 or 15.6 inches, optional 4G, a starting price of $800 and rather Apple MacBook Pro–like looks—which HP has said is simply the result of an emphasis on smart design.

HP's Sleekbooks come in the same size options as its Ultrabooks and likewise include Beats Audio. The major differences between the brands are the Sleekbooks' AMD processors and more modest price tags. The 14-inch version starts at $700 and the 15.6-inch model at $600.

Lenovo A720 All-in-One

Lenovo is calling the A720 the industry's slimmest 27-inch all-in-one. Others are calling it "The Transformer." Its adjustable hinge lets a user pull it forward, tilt it or fold it down completely. On board are the latest Intel processors, Nvidia GeForce graphics, a 1TB hard drive and a 64GB solid-state drive (SSD).

The 16:9 widescreen features 10-point multi-touch capabilities, which can let users take advantage of the screen's flexibility in a number of ways.

Asus Zenbook Prime

The Asus Zenbook is a barely-there Ultrabook. It measures 0.35 inches (or 9mm) in height at the rear, and 0.12 inches (or 3mm) at the front. SSD drives in 64, 128 or 256GB mean instant-on times of 2 seconds.

At an April 25 event in Asia, Asus introduced the Zenbook Prime series, as well as the new X, K, N and G Series. All of them, says Asus, feature mixtures of "beauty, sound, touch, IOIC [Instant On-Instant Connect} and cloud." Options include Rose Gold and Hot Pink.
