Major Retailers Learn Barcode Lesson Arizona-Style
State inspectors found inaccurate prices at major retailers, prompting overcharges for consumers and $51,000 in fines to retailers. The largest of those fines went to The Sports Authority for $16,000.
Other retailers, such as Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Albertsons, Checker Auto Parts and Kmart, also had several mispriced products, according to the Arizona Department of Weights and Measures.
