The multitude of LinuxWorld pilgrims that gathered in New York this week may have suffered in the cold outside the Javits Center, by the rivers bank. But inside the glass house, there were technology demonstrations and product introductions that warmed the heart of the open-source community.

According to attendees, Tux, the iconic Linux penguin, was everywhere, big and small. Also packing the hall were Tuxs best buddies: the many corporate IT companies and vendors that now support him.
