AVG Introduces Security Software Suite for SMBs
Free antivirus software developer AVG Technologies announced the availability of AVG Internet Security 2011 Business Edition and AVG Anti-Virus 2011 Business Edition, designed to give Internet-active SMB owners the protection they need.
From online transactions and e-mail communications to handling sensitive
customer data, AVG Internet Security 2011 Business Edition is designed to
protect Internet-active businesses from online threats, while AVG Anti-Virus
2011 Business Edition offers real-time protection against the latest online
threats.
Internet Security 2011 Business Edition and Anti-Virus 2011 Business Edition are
based on the company's People Powered Protection design model; incorporating

product suite includes enhanced Web and social network protection, a
user-friendly interface, and a faster, nimble and more powerful design.
"At AVG, we recognize that most small business owners are not IT experts,
and need an antivirus and Internet security solution for their business that
provides maximum protection and is easy to administrate," said J.R. Smith,
CEO of AVG Technologies. "That's why we
designed Internet Security 2011 Business Edition and Anti-Virus 2011 Business
Edition to be the easiest to use and manage on the market."
The complete AVG 2011 paid family of consumer and SMB products is available via
the company's Website. Pricing for a one-year, five-seat license for Internet
Security Business Edition 2011 starts at $247.99. A one- year, two-seat license

AVG's business security solutions are used by midmarket companies worldwide,
including Kaseya, a global provider of IT systems management software based in Lausanne,
Switzerland.
"Kaseya currently has a significant number of deployments of AVG
integrated into the Kaseya product line, allowing our customers a 'single pane
of glass' to view all aspects of the environments they manage," said Jeff
Keyes of Kaseya. "The integration includes monitoring and remediation for
component status, signature versions, scans, and many other aspects of the AVG
product. We are looking forward to the improvements in AVG 2011."
Business Edition 2011 features social networking protection, which offers
real-time, automatic checking of links exchanged within Facebook and MySpace,
as well as a customizable remote admin that enables remote installation,
deployment and management of business network security no matter where
employees are located. Other features include a desktop widget, which provides
information on connection status, server workload and stations requiring
attention with links to reports as well as news and updates from AVG and smart
anti-rootkit technology.
