DYMO Introduces LabelWriter Family of Printers
Newell Rubbermaid subsidiary DYMO announced an addition to its line of LabelWriter printers, the 450, the 450 Turbo and the 450 Twin Turbo, all aimed at small to medium-size businesses and small office-home office customers. The base LabelWriter 450 retails for $109.99, the Turbo retails for $139.99 and the Twin Turbo retails for $209.99. Although the company announced the 450 DUO as well, the release stated the machine would not be available until next year.
LabelWriter 450 printers output address, shipping and file folder labels, as well as printing U.S. Postal Service approved postage from the user's desk. The machines also print barcodes and name badges, and the company claims the printers can be up and running in less than 10 minutes. The printers connect directly to a PC or Mac and the Turbo, Twin Turbo and DUO models print up to 71 labels per minute.
The 450 Turbo also includes a
Quick Print widget allows users to quickly create "one-off" labels, Address
Fixer software that corrects U.S. addresses and ZIP codes and can convert
stacks of paper documents to digital files with DYMO File LT software. The Twin
Turbo edition features two roll printing capability, which allows users to load
two rolls of the same labels and automatically switch to the second roll when
the first runs out.

Trump's third season of The Apprentice, may seem an odd choice for label printer spokeswoman, however, she
said in a company release that DYMO products and services provide smart, quick
solutions for everyday office tasks that can often weigh businesses down.

me great insight on the tools companies of all shapes and sizes need to boost
productivity, get organized and be more successful," she said. "DYMO helps

A recent DYMO online survey
of 501 SMB/SOHO executives fielded by Braun Researchshowed executives report that looking professional and
being organized make them feel better about their businesses. Sixty-eight
percent of SMB/SOHO executives surveyed showed increased usage of technology in
their day-to-day work to improve their company's professional appearance-a point
The Donald's winning apprentice was quick to pick up on.
