Franklin Covey Licenses PlanPlus to Complete XRM
Franklin Covey, a consulting and training firm, announced it signed a licensing agreement with Complete XRM, a provider of Enterprise 2.0 CRM solutions for small to medium-size businesses, for the rights to its PlanPlus product line, which includes PlanPlus Online and PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook. PlanPlus Online is a planning and CRM solution and is available for individuals and businesses with subscription pricing from $14.95 to $59.95 per month.
Complete XRM is acquiring the rights to the PlanPlus product line by purchasing the same from Franklin Covey Products, the exclusive worldwide licensee of consumer products for Franklin Covey. Complete XRM has been a longtime software development partner with Franklin Covey and Franklin Covey Products and has served a central role in helping in the development of their SAAS (software-as-a-service) solutions, the companies said in a joint statement. Complete XRM is known for its foundation, which delivers Enterprise 2.0 CRM software for midmarket companies and provides businesses with CRM functionality online anytime, anywhere through any Web browser.
Under the agreement, Complete XRM will continue to develop, manage and market certain software, such as PlanPlus Online and PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook, and SAAS solutions for customers worldwide in a direct relationship with Franklin Covey. The license acquisition allows Complete XRM the rights to market these software solutions through Franklin Covey Products' retail stores, call center and Website, as well as in mass distribution channels, including national retailers, VARs (value-added resellers) and other channel partners. Franklin Covey and Franklin Covey Products will receive royalties from Complete XRM for the sales of these solutions.
PlanPlus Online is a suite of online offerings that incorporates the Franklin Covey planning methodology for individuals and sales persons, as well as a CRM for businesses. PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook is a desktop software solution that allows customers to implement Franklin Covey planning methodology while using Microsoft Outlook. The product is sold as a plug-in to customers using Microsoft Outlook as their collaboration application.
