Enterprise Mobility: Sprint HTC Evo 3D, HTC Evo View 4G: Hoping 3D, 4G Conquer All
The HTC Evo View 4G includes a 7-inch screen with 1,024-by-600 resolution.
The HTC Evo View 4G can shoot 3D images and video via dual 5-megapixel cameras embedded in the back of the tablet. Curiously, this shot seems to reveal only one camera aperture, as opposed to the LG G-Slate, where the two cameras used for 3D are clearly visible.
The version of the HTC View 4G on display did not seem to be running Google Android 3.0, code-named "Honeycomb." Android 3.0 is a staple of new and upcoming tablets, including the Motorola Xoom, larger Samsung Galaxy Tabs and LG G-Slate.
In order to power both 3D video and multimedia functions, the HTC Evo View 4G relies on a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
E-reading is just one of the many functions the tablet offers.
One key differentiator of the HTC View 4G is its HTC Scribe digital pen, which lets users draw and write on documents and Web pages. Those marked-up screens can then be sent (via a variety of methods) to friends and colleagues.
The HTC View 4G can operate on both 3G and 4G networks, while its dual cameras (front and rear) enable video conferencing.

The HTC View 4G will hit store shelves sometime this summer, although Sprint declined to offer an exact date or pricing.
In addition to the usual multimedia functions such as video playback, Sprint is obviously betting big that consumers (and perhaps businesses) will want to shoot and view things in 3D.
