Sony Introduces Two Slim Shooters
Case in point: Sony has just launched its new Cyber-shot DSC-T50 and DSC-N2 digital cameras. The T50 will replace the T30 and the N2 will replace the N1.
Both are compact 3X optical zoom shooters that come with very large 3-inch touch-screen LCDs, a hallmark of Sonys camcorders.
The digicams store images on Sony Media Stick Duo memory cards.
Like the N1, the N2 makes much of its album viewing mode, taking advantage of the 3-inch LCD and allowing you to store up to 500 images onboard (although the images themselves are copies and downsized to VGA-size images.)
But the real change is the upped megapixel count, now at 10.1 megapixels, and the increased ISO, which now goes up to 1600.
