LAS VEGAS–Belkin Products demonstrated a number of new products at the Digital Experience show here. For those interested in Bluetooth technology, there were several introductions: A Bluetooth headset priced at $79. And, if you need a Bluetooth dongle for your PC, theres a separate SKU with headset and dongle for $99. Also introduced, but not pictured, was a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse combination, model FHT042B for $129.00.
Belkin was also showing their Bluetooth GPS product, Model F8T051. For $299, you get complete street maps of the United States and Canada, and Bluetooth GPS receiver. Just plop the GPS receiver on your dashboard, no wires needed.
Finally, for the mobile worker comes the F5U218-MOB 4-port high-speed USB 2.0 Thumb hub. This is a passive USB hub, so you cant exceed the power specifications of a single port. But if you need additional ports for low current devices, $24.95 seems like a good deal. A short connecting USB cable is included should the Thumb hub not fit your notebook configuration.
