Sony Xperia T3 Smartphone Sports Stainless Steel Frame
Sony’s mobile division added the latest member of the Xperia series of mobile devices with the launch of the Xperia T3 smartphone, which sports a stainless steel frame and a 5.3-inch touch-screen display featuring the company’s HD Triluminos with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 technology.
Available in white, black or purple, the lightweight, ultra-thin handset is being sold on the basis of high-quality materials and a selection of components including a Quad-core central processing unit (CPU) with 1.4 GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera featuring Exmor RS for mobile, and a long-lasting 2500 mAh battery with Stamina mode to extend the life of the device.
In addition, Xperia Transfer is an app that helps users move contacts, photos, bookmarks, apps, music, messages and more from an old Android or iOS device to the T3. Furthermore, Xperia Transfer Mobile2 makes the switch even easier, because there is no need to use a PC or Mac, as users can transfer directly from phone to phone.
"Xperia T3 has been crafted with attention to detail for those who know how to appreciate distinctive design in their everyday life," Calum MacDougall, director of Xperia marketing at Sony Mobile Communications, said in a statement. "The T3 is packed with the latest beautiful technology from Sony – including leading digital imaging expertise and a vivid HD display – all within a stylish, stainless steel frame. The combination of this beautiful technology and the premium design ensures the T3 immediately stands apart from the competition."
Sony’s smartphones typically come with an impressive selection of features for the integrated camera, and the T3 is no exception, offering high dynamic range (HDR) functionality and SteadyShot for taking photos in low-light situations.
The company has committed to continuously improve its selection of camera apps, with more apps constantly available to download and new ones continuously released.
The T3 already comes packaged with five camera apps, including Social Live, which lets users broadcast photos and videos live through Facebook and lets users see and share comments in real time on the phone’s screen.
Creative effects let users give pictures an artistic edge by applying a wide selection of looks to photos and videos with effects like the ability to change colors, add image trails or apply mirror effects, and is available in real-time for video.
Other apps include timeshift burst, which takes 31 frames within just two seconds, and Portrait Retouch, which makes sure users are always captured looking their best with features including real-time makeup, deco frame and other options. Users can also see changes in real time, before capturing the shot to ensure the desired result.
